Wake Tech parents and families play a key role in our efforts to build students' success as leaders in the community. Please consider partnering with us by sharing your talents. Here are some of the ways you can be involved in the life of our students.
WAVES:
Wake Adults Volunteering Educational Services is the WTCC Basic Skills program that offers adults, from all walks of life, the opportunity to help other adults realize their educational dreams. http://basicskills.waketech.edu/waves/
Career Development:
Professionals Interested in Creating Career Opportunities (PICCO) offer students valuable opportunities and resources for exploring their career interests. You can be involved in the following:
- Informational Interviews:
Provide students with general information about your job and industry.
- Job Shadowing:
Give students an opportunity to shadow you at your job site to better understand your profession.
