Wake Tech Plans Watch Party for Tonight's Basketball Game

RALEIGH, N.C. (March 19, 2014) - Wake Tech is planning a watch party for Round 2 of the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) national basketball tournament. Wake Tech takes on Wayne County Community College from Detroit, Michigan, at 7 p.m. Students and fans will gather at Kickback Jack's to watch the game live streamed. Kickback Jack’s is located at 1405 Garner Station Boulevard in Raleigh.

Wake Tech advanced to Round 2 by beating Potomac State (WVU) 93-88 in overtime in yesterday's first round game. In addition to winning the Region X championship, Wake Tech coach Joe Mitchell won Region X coach of the year and Josh Mellette won Region X player of the year.
