Wake Tech Holds Annual Open House

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 11, 2014) - Hundreds of people converged on two Wake Tech campuses today for the college’s annual Open House. Visitors included high school students and their parents, school guidance counselors and administrators, professionals changing career pathways, and other members of the community. The events took place on Wake Tech’s Main and Perry Health Science campuses. Both offered tours and opportunities to learn about the courses, programs, and support services Wake Tech offers.
Visitors spoke with admissions advisors, career counselors, and staff and faculty from all departments.
Prospective students learned about Wake Tech curriculum programs in health sciences, culinary arts, cosmetology, business, computers, engineering, and skilled trades. Students were also able to explore financial aid and college transfer options, student activities, and athletics at Wake Tech.
Wake Tech Community College is North Carolina’s largest community college, serving more than 70,000 students annually with five campuses, two training centers, multiple community sites, and one of the largest online programs in the state A third Open House will take place at Wake Tech’s Northern Wake Campus on Saturday, April 25.
