    RALEIGH, N.C. (July 24, 2017) - It’s boot camp – for computer coders! Wake Tech is now offering – for the first time – a 15-week training in computer coding languages. Web Developer Coding Boot Camp, which begins Tuesday, July 25, is offered through Wake Tech’s non-credit Workforce Continuing Education division. The boot camp is full, and there’s a waiting list for the next one, which starts in a few weeks.

    RALEIGH, N.C. (March 27, 2017) - Wake Tech Community College has launched a new Collaborative Robotics program at its Advanced Manufacturing Center in Raleigh. The training program features YuMi, an award-winning, dual-arm, small parts assembly robot that includes flexible hands and state-of-the-art controls.

     RALEIGH, N.C. (June 27, 2016) - Wake Tech Community College has received the largest grant in its 50+-year history to train workers for jobs in cybersecurity, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and financial services. The college is one of 39 recipients nationwide who will share $150 million from the U.S. Department of Labor’s “TechHire” grant program.     RALEIGH, N.C. (December 4, 2015) - Unemployed professionals in the Triangle will soon have a new resource at Wake Tech. Career Transitions-StepUp, a leading Triangle career transitions group, will become a new program in Wake Tech’s Human Resources Development (HRD) division in January 2016.     RALEIGH, N.C. (May 19, 2015) - Wake Tech hosted Anne Richard, Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration for the U.S. Department of State, at its Beltline Education Center today. Her visit was part of a multi-stop tour of refugee resettlement systems and support services across North Carolina and the nation.
