(July 26, 2017) - Wake Tech’s Public Safety Education Campus has a new leader: Jeffrey Robinson, a seasoned law enforcement professional, has been named Dean and Chief Campus Officer of the Public Safety Education Campus. Robinson is responsible for daily operations at the campus and oversees its budget.

    RALEIGH, N.C. (September 9, 2016) - Wake Tech held tributes on two of its campuses on Friday, September 9, to mark the 15th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The Public Safety Education Campus held a special ceremony that included a candle lighting at the Memorial Wall, the placing of a wreath at the campus flagpole, and the release of doves. Local first responders were recognized, a Holly Springs K-9 unit was on hand, and two firetrucks displayed a giant American flag.

    RALEIGH, N.C. (April 13, 2016) - Some of Wake Tech’s best and brightest were inducted into the Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. The international honor society for two-year colleges offers opportunities for scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship for students. Seventy students in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degree programs were inducted in a ceremony that featured Wake County Commissioner Sig Hutchinson. His reinforced the importance of being kind to others: “The greatest gift we can give someone is our complete and full attention.”

    RALEIGH, N.C. (April 27, 2015) ­- Some students who graduate from Wake Technical Community College next Saturday will have more than academic transcripts to present to potential employers. Wake Tech is now offering “co-curricular transcripts,” or CCTs – records of the valuable, college-related experiences students have outside the classroom.     RALEIGH, N.C. (January 27, 2015) - What’s your passion? For retired pharmacist and health administrator Julian Bradley, it’s painting, and his artwork is being shown at Cary’s Town Hall from January 27 to March 23. The Second Chance Painting Exhibition, as the event is called, is Bradley’s effort to help others pursue their passions at Wake Tech Community College.
