1. When is the race?
   1. 8:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16th, 2013
2. Where is the race?
   1. Wake Tech’s Northern Wake Campus: 6600 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC 27616. Get Directions.
3. How many participants are expected?
   1. We hope to have at least 200. Urge your colleagues and friends to run or walk with you!
4. Will refreshments and restrooms be provided?
   1. Yes. The route will include a water station, and refreshments will be provided at the start/finish line. Portajohns will also be available.

6. Will there be prizes?
   1. Although there are no cash prizes, awards will be giving to the top three male and female runners and top 2 runners in every age group.
7. Can I run with headphones?
   1. Unfortunately, headphones are not allowed on the course for safety reasons.
8. Where can I Park?
   1. Parking is free and will be available in the Parking Lot “B” adjacent to US 401. Overflow parking will be available in lots, “A”, D”D, and the parking deck. Parking lots are labelled on the campus map.
9. Who can participate in the race?
   1. Whether you are an avid runner, beginner, or first timer our race is perfect everyone. We invite participants to race for Wake Tech!
10. What is the course like?
    1. The course is flat asphalt and concrete. Water will be available along the course, food and drinks will be available sat the finish line. You will hear split times at miles 1, 2, and 3. You can find the official route at http://roadscholars.waketech.edu
11. What is the race day schedule?
    1. Early bird registration is October 15 - March 1. Register online at http://roadscholars.waketech.edu or mail your form and payment to:

12. Will I receive a race packet?
    1. On Friday March 15th, packets can be picked up from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the lobby of Building D at Wake Tech's Northern Wake Campus (where the race will be held). Packet pickup and late registration will start at 6:30 am on the day of the race.  Get Directions. Campus Map.
13. What is the race schedule?
    1. 6:30 am Registration opens on race day
       8:00 am 5k Run/Walk begins
       9:30 am Awards Ceremony
14. What happens if there is inclement weather?
    1. In the case of an event cancellation, due to conditions beyond the control of Wake Tech, refunds will not be made. These funds will be used for Scholarships and other notable efforts by the Wake Tech Foundation.
