The Adult Education Center (AEC) houses Wake Tech's Basic Skills programs, designed to help adults improve math, reading, and writing skills. Basic Skills includes the GED and Adult High School programs, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and Compensatory Education for adults with intellectual disabilities.
