National Science Foundation Grant

National Science Foundation Grant--On August 24, 2001, Dr. Howell, on behalf of the six consortium community college presidents, issued a statement that the NSF had officially awarded Wake Technical Community College $800,000 on behalf of the Eastern NC Plastics Technology Consortium. This funding will be used over a three year period to help build curriculum and promote the Eastern NC Plastics Technology Center for this six county region. The grant period runs from August 1, 2001 until July 31, 2004.
